Tales of a Web Designer-Developer and Graphic Artist
Finally, an update. The last post was supposed to be the “first of many” and so far “that ain’t happenin'”.
Hopefully I can rectify that and start posting at least once a week. I’ll shoot for Friday’s since those are generally “happy days”/days I’m more motivated, and I’d probably have something to talk about at the end of the work week.
So to get the ball rolling, here are a few of my recent projects and current events:
– I finished a portrait of my coworkers boxer, it turned out especially well considering I haven’t drawn an actual pencil portrait in several years.
– Finished the prep phases of Essential Massage and Wellness website redesign I’m working on. Now I’m excited to be working on the actual coding/development phase.
– Hanna (my wife) had a 5 day work assignment in Maryland! @_@ – Wow! Can you believe I survived 5 days at home with the kids who ended up getting sick, vomiting etc?! (I had some help on the days I had to work, thanks all!)
– Been reviewing web design/dev like basic media queries, meta tags, Bootstrap, developing Custom WP themes, JavaScript, etc.
– Starting PCC courses up again in Jan 2018 after taking most of 2017 off.
